In our modern times, there is no short cut to leading to success but work hard and relentlessly. Some people believe that luck does not contribute to one’s success at all, and that luck and success are unconnected with each other. In my opinion, both are essential for one’s success in life.
To begin with , it is a widespread agreement that working industriously plays an integral part in our success. As a saying goes: "Practice makes perfect", we all are conscious of the fact that only by training hard can we achieve our goals and be successful in life. This means having to encounter and overcome a large number of intricate problems. Therefore, one has to be really tough and persevering in order to attain great achievements. Moreover, it should always be borne in mind that we will get nothing but a failure if we are always work-shy and afraid of difficulties.
In addition, although there is no denying the importance of working hard, luck also plays a certain role in our success. By way of illustration, if we have the good fortune to be born and grow up in an affluent family, we may have a great opportunity to study and develop more efficiently, thus leading to a better chance of success in the future.
