In our modern times, some people believe that they can study well on their own and without a teacher. Others, however, think that it is always better to study with a teacher. In my opinion, teachers play a very important part in our success. The reasons are given below. 

First of all, studying with a teacher may be funnier and more enjoyable than studying alone. A friendly and humorous teacher may make us feel more interested in studying. Also, we may not feel bored and tired when we have to study continuously for long hours every day. 

Secondly, teachers may be our best companions. Since they are well-trained and knowledgeable, they may give us many helpful pieces of advice. In other words, we may overcome our problems much more easily with their help. As a consequence, our study results may become better and better. 

Finally, teachers may be a great inspiration for us to study well. A good teacher may set a good example to us and teach us precious experiences. In addition, we can confide with them whenever we feel unhappy or run into difficulty, and they are always willing to help and support us. 

In conclusion, there is no denying the fact that self-study also contributes to our success, but teachers have a more positive influence. They not only help us resolve our problems but also inspire and encourage us to study better.
