In our modern times, children can have a chance to take part in a variety of leisure activities, including sports, art, music or online games. Some think that these activities should be educational because they are believed to do good on children,or else they may become a complete waste of time. Personally, I strongly agree with this point of view, and the reasons are given below.

First of all, educational leisure activities may help children improve themselves and get more knowledge apart from what is taught at school. For example, reading or doing crosswords may provide children with a lot of interesting and useful information. In addition, children are also able to practise their language skills via playing some video games ,which is very beneficial for children as it may help them develop their abilty to use their target language and creativity as well.
